I met Eileen and Mike at St Paul’s church, the moment we started talking I knew how special, loving, friendly and caring they both are.   She loved my girls the moment she met them, they was only 18 months and 29 months. When we was at church they would squeeze passed others and sit  between Mike and Eileen and it was a true break for me and Matthew, just to sit there and listen to the service was our break. 


When we got talking we then knew all the same people and Mike worked with my older brother Andy at the council, many years ago.


I lost my mum in 2010 and I was 28 weeks pregnant with my oldest girl and I told Eileen the story and she was in tears with me  and I remember her holding my hand telling me how proud my mum would be of me and the girls and how much she would have loved them and if I ever needed anything.

I only sent a  message about 3 weeks ago because I seen Mike on a housing estate we have moved to in Leigh. I am so sorry that Eileen has been taken to soon.  Very special lady sleep tight x
